I love getting testimonials, especially for some of the more unusual tasks I do. Though I love blogging and do a lot of it, sometimes I help small business owners and solopreneurs update their sites, shifting from static sites to WordPress.
At the same time, I help them optimize their existing site content for search engines. Here’s one of my recent testimonials for doing this, from Verity Dawson of Carib Holistic Insights:
I want to express my grateful thanks to you for this job done in such a whole-hearted and competent manner.
Now that the site is on WordPress and the basic structure is sound, we’ll be addressing design recommendation in the next phase of the project, currently scheduled for some time in October.
Back to writing, and I tidied up the web content for the Automoto 2012 website to give it a bit more punch:

- transitioning from a Joomla site to a WordPress test site
- cleaning up and optimizing the content (SEO)
- installing basic plugins
- moving to a live site
- finding and tweaking a theme he liked
Here’s what the site looked like originally:
And here’s what it looks like now:
Feedback from both my client and his clients has been excellent.
Finally, to round out my other jobs, I’ve helped two clients get Kindle books published. On the first, An Olive Oil Tour of France, I also did some book coaching and minor editing. On the second, which isn’t live yet, I just handled formatting and uploading.
